In a shocking story today in the land of Hollywood, the name of a Hindu god was invoked in a film which celebrated African culture.

Though certainly attention catching, it was not the most significant event. As with Sherlock Holmes, it was the absence of the barking dogs, i.e., the refusal of people to take offense, at what is, at best, a historic inaccuracy.
