[14:31:56] <timemachine> jlj: I had a blast :)
[17:04:56] <timemachine> I'm getting along with learning Rust.
[17:06:24] <felix> Have fun!
[17:08:39] <felix> How's it going?
[17:38:07] <michel> I'm going to finally get my Android app in kotlin going. Been resisting learning that platform for too long
[17:42:14] <felix> Good luck!
[17:43:59] <felix> And I have the beginning of a curses binding for Duktape.
[17:46:39] <michel> Thanks! I guess I like the API, I just find the platform a bit ... bloated. And overly controlled by google. But I'm not ready to switch to mobile Linux for daily usage yet 😅
[17:46:47] <michel> What's duktape?
[17:48:32] <felix> https://duktape.org
[17:54:18] <felix> We don't have it on Ctrl-C, but it's easy enough to build from source.
[17:54:48] <felix> I did it in the past. Right now I'm just using the Debian package.

[19:01:56] <jlj> timemachine: neat! That's on my (very long) to-do list. :-)
[19:02:43] <jlj> Went on a road trip to get a bike. Took the kids out with it today, pulling their trailer. Good times.
[19:04:01] <aravk> sounds fun jlj
[19:04:31] <jlj> Now I need to stop procrastinating and properly learn Netfilter; been getting by with bits and pieces for years now, but both OpenWrt and ufw on my desktop are suffering with iptables related issues now, I'm convinced. The moment has come. :-)
[19:07:11] <jlj> aravk: really was. It's this old Triumph; hadn't even seen the tyre valves before (the adapter for which he provided, thank goodness). The skewer on my e-bike wasn't long enough for the trailer hitch, so I decided to go on eBay. :-) The guy didn't want to sell it, but had just had knee surgery; told him it would have a good life with us. :-) Works out well, because I didn't like locking up the
[19:07:13] <jlj> e-bike in town anyway.
