Telling someone that you got a sunburn might narrow down the area in which you ma be looked for, as one would have to check the weather in the past days. Might be one bit of information in a dragnet investigation.
Don't tell anyone of a sunburn if you are hiing (and/or fake one with a sunlamp while being in a not-so-sunny area.
... because of your DNA you left behind when licking the adhesive.
Have someone else lick it or use sticky tape.
