11th-hour speedpost!

I normally try to avoid writing too many posts about posting, but today is kind of a special case. I had something right away after work, and then I went and visited my brother. We got to talking for a while, and I decided to try to go home around 10:30 so I could still finish my post for the day.

Apparently, he hasn’t changed the clock in his kitchen since the daylight savings time switch, so it was actually an hour behind. Now, I’m starting my post at 11:50, the closest to the wire I’ve ever gotten. I’ve been too consistent with this challenge to fail now, so I’m trying to get it out before midnight.

I know I could technically just get it out whenever works, but I really want to be able to tell myself I did the whole challenge. I only need 100 words, so I’m going to finish up here for now. I would have liked to tell you about the band Lamp, which is what I was planning on writing about, but that will have to wait for another day. I’ll add an image to this post tomorrow too.

Have you ever had to get something in right at the last minute? Do you like sticking to a challenge to the letter even if it doesn’t make that much of a difference? Do you work well under pressure? Let me know your thoughts at my Ctrl-C email: gome @ ctrl-c.club.
