Olympus — Sufjan Stevens, Angelo De Augustine
- listened in Summer 2021, on vacation to Wisconsin
- layered vocals on the chorus, with Sufjan-esque layers of arpeggios (guitar and piano) portrays wandering energy
- for being so simple, the verse instrumentation feels very full (the vibe instrument has a rich, low spectrum)
- the major changes in color/section throughout the song come from the different instruments used in these vague-feeling layers
- single voice in verse changing to layered vocals in the chorus feels like an opening up, supported by the instrumental layers changing too
Forlorn, lonely, wonder
