Pistil and the Stamen — King Radio

• the slack voice on “immune from” and then a sharp “t” on “engagement” sounds like irritation, nice touch
• sus chord on chorus, “look at the guys”, sounds like... soul? ... something else...
• nice clocky bass octaves on this album
• strings, to flute/xylophone, to just a little guitar gesture back into verse
  • the guitar actually feels like more of a thing there than it is, it’s just the color change
  • but it’s enough to complete the instrumental section
• IV to iv guitar “bow-wow”, a little funny, but bears some good weight too
