[00:43:51] <shardiame> For sure. The remote thing exascerbates this.. Our company is an amalgamation of a bunch of smaller companies. The live communication worked great back then. We just scaled the number of meetings with the size of the company, and kept using IM.

[02:49:29] <fleg> Personally I prefer slack to phones. At least slack (and emails) are asynchronous by nature, so for many people it's perfectly normal to write their business and do something else while waiting for a response

[15:43:46] <shardiame> I had some plans drawn up for a N-player pong game drawn up I was meaning to write. 2 players, normal pong. 3 players, triangular arena, 4 players square, 5 players pentagon, .... I should build that.
