Excellent retelling of the ancient Nordic myths. Got it as a present from a friend, as the small annotation on the first page shows.
The years go by, and I forget the details of how I got my hands on the book. I think Olivia won the book at Secret Santa or something, but it turned out she already owned a copy. I then recieved the old one. We are no longer in contact, but it is a dear memory of her friendship. Maybe one day I will visit her. I hear she became a chef and makes all sort of fancy dishes now.
It means quite a lot to me, so I'm a bit sad it got soaked in water a few months ago. It's still legible, but a bit moldy. Maybe it's not so smart to place my plants next to my books.
