You've arrived at the top of the stairs. This is a space in between everything else. It is a little bit cramped; it is obviously just a functional space. Usually, we just go to the master bedroom.
"What is that table thing?"
That's a change table.
We don't have on one the first floor.
If we need to change the baby, we run up here and do it.
The change table has all the baby wipes, diapers, and other parenting necessities.
"Where do those stairs lead?"
The next set of stairs lead up to the third floor.
The third floor has my daughters' bedrooms.
It is not a part of this tour.
"Where does that door lead?"
That door leads to a small closet containing the washer and dryer.
Our washer is a little bit tempermental.
It always thinks that there is too much laundry soap, even if we put in a small quanity like 16g.
We have a baker's scale to help measure out an "acceptable" amount of laundry soap.
One day, we should get it repaired.
