My Chrome extension that I started making around new years eve has now been updated and rewritten from the ground up.

The problem that some feeds not being shown is now solved by instead of using a content script using the tabs api and just updating the current tab where there is a feed.

This made the code much more simple and the speed of converting to a feed much faster!

Also made the extension free software be licensing it with GPLv3 so you can see how It's made and use some of the code if you want. I myself think that the code is very simple but it could be of some use to someone out there!

Of course, I hope you guys like the extension and have use for it too!

Download the extension and check it out!

I got an email by an employee on Ericsson today, asking if he could use the code of my HTML5 Pong. Thinking that this could be modified and published somewhere I started to clean up the code a little and started to change the graphics.

I have also added a License to the game so the game is now free software. You can use the code of the game provided that you release your modification as free software. The license I chose was GPLv3 as I want some credit for my work.

If you use the code, it would be very nice if you would provide a link to the game page or to my site.

I will provide a some simple HTML code for making it possible to embed the game into your blog post soon!

Now it's time for bed, have fps game to continue working on tomorrow and some laborations of game design and computer graphics to finish.

Check out the updated version!

Renamed my little asteroids project to Daveroids (I'm soo creative!) The big changes in this release is in the gameplay. The ship now moves smooth and is accelerating if you hold forward. It behaves more like a real space ship :)

Some new features in the game is about how you can score in the game. If you shoot asteroids and don't miss, you get a nice multiplier that multiplies the points you get for every asteroid. There is also some bonus points after every level is cleared which is calculated by the accuracy you have through the game.

As usual you can download the game at the project page.

Mars Roover

Here is my submission for my latest assignement in the Computer Graphics course i'm currently studying in. It's made with XNA Game Studio 3.1 and uses only primitives and vertices. I have different vertices with different colors and indices that connects them. All made with just code, no 3D modeling program whats so ever!

It's a little sad that I cannot use linux for these courses but on the other hand, it was quite easy to develop this in XNA.

In the future, I hope to develop some OpenGL applications for Android but right now it's XNA that's in focus. :/

Download the executable file for Windows and have a look!

If anyone want to look at the source code, I can upload it here later.

As you can see, I have now updated my web design on this site. It's build with HTML5 and I hope It's going to be easier for search engines to read the information on this site. It's still a bit work in progress though. I wanted a more open white design where I wasn't bound to have a header for every page. (It's still going to be different headers for different sections). I also wanted the site to be more simple and easier to use. I have implemented @font-face which only works in the latest browser such as Firefox 3.5 but if you're using one of those, it looks pretty nice!

Some more work left is to rebuild the underlying system (again) to allow blog posts to be shown in a project page and also show tags for each article or blog post.

I have also started to build a mobile version for Android and Iphone devices but right now you will not see any design at all as the CSS is almost empty. Check back soon with your mobile for a mobile version! ;-)

Wanted to show my family's different feeds on our family portal so I made this simple script that merges several RSS 2.0 feeds and puts them in a array that can be used to make a new big RSS feed or just display them on a page.

Included in this zip-archive is a class for merging several RRS feeds, a class for making RSS feeds and two example files for showing how to display the merged RSS files.

This script requires that you run PHP version 5.13 or later

Download RSS Merger 0.1 or take a look at the demo page

You are free to use and modify the code however you want!

NoseRub is a decentralized community which means that you have control over your data and NoseRub just acts like a Hub of information. There is some stuff you can to on the site like microblogging but most of the content is done off site.

I have checked in NoseRub from time to time and it's looking really good now. So I decided to start translate NoseRub to Swedish. I did this because I got tired of coding my own community site from scratch.

I have translated every sentence in the NoseRub project to Swedish but I'm unsure of some of the translations. Also what do you translate "feed" to in Swedish?

My idea was to upload this project to my site Fjortisstorm and get people to add their different accounts they have around the web. With version 0.8 of NoseRub which was released just this weekend, NoseRub now have support for identi.ca which is a very nice and open source microblogging service! My twitter status on top of my page is now updated from my identi.ca profile which is in turn updated through XMPP. I have added a bot from identi.ca and can now send my identi.ca posts to that bot using my gtalk account and it updates my identi.ca profile which I think is really cool!

Instead of just sending my updates to twitter and other sites like facebook I can now "send" it to my NoseRub account too!

I don't know if all my translations made it for NoseRub 0.8 but you can now download it for your site (in Swedish if you want) and be a part of the decentralized network!

OpenID is an ID that you can use to login to multiple sites. The great thing with that is that you only need to remember one password and not different passwords for all the sites you want to login to!

My site is now using OpenID for posting comments. Took me all day to set up a comment system and write my OpenID code. I'm using the janrain-library which is open source and was very simple to set up. Good examples and stuff!

If you login with your OpenID on my site, you can post comments to my blog posts. You can also go to a page and view your last written comments.

I'm also planning to do a simple CAPTCHA for people that does'nt have an OpenID and doesn't want to get one just for posting a simple comment here.

Maybe you already have an OpenID?

If you have a Wordpress or LiveJournal blogg you can login into my site using your blog adress! Yahoo! is another of a site that has openID support and support is coming from Google and Microsoft soon!

That means almost everyone is going to have an OpenID and not know it! That of course is something we must change!

Where can I get one easily?

I recommend that you get one on myOpenID.com where it's very simple to set up an account! This site also have personas which lets you send different information about yourself to sites that you login to. When you do this registration forms can be filled in automatically for example. This site only uses the 'fullname' field and fills that in the comment form when available.

Also working on openid support for comments which will also come soon. Have many school related stuff do and that's why I haven't updated the site for a while. I have also been working alot on my project Fjortisstorm and studied how OpenID works.

Also got my OpenMoko Freerunner on my birthday in September and have tried different OS on it. Current OS that is installed now is FDOM and Qt extended. I tried to use the openmoko as a normal mobile phone for a while but I got tired and is now using my Nokia again. Sadly the software is still not mature enough and I did know that when I got the phone.
