i reinstalled gentoo from scratch. i could not stand how iffy the previous install was. things are better now.
i've been watching youtube as i do it. it's got a lot of junk on it. like so much utter rubbish. and yet here i am watching it with a smile.
i started rewatching the yogscast's jaffa factory series, it's still good. not sure if i like it as much as i once did, things feel a little odd considering all the things we now know.
on the other hand, markiplier is still funny.
