Wiki engines are different because any visitor can click the link labeled "edit this page" at the bottom, and from there change the text. You only need to enter the password when saving.
BrutalWiki is also different: it uses rocket links throughout.
Short version: rocket links always appear on a line of their own, indicated by an arrow symbol at the start. They were invented by a programmer known as solderpunk for his creation, the Gemini Protocol. (If you don't know what that is, don't worry about it.) BrutalWiki uses them for technical reasons, but also as an experiment. It's just not the same as the usual kind.
Links are of two kinds, internal and external. You can see examples of both right here or on the homepage.
To create a new page, simply add a link to one that doesn't exist yet, follow the link, then click Edit as usual. Or simply use the form on the search page.
To delete a page, first delete all the text in it and save. Then go to Search->Statistics->Clean Up. Enter the password and confirm. All empty pages will be deleted from the database.
