How It Started β¨
I got the idea for this site while talking with my landlord, who is anti-technology. We were discussing technology, and I mentioned that we have the Library of Alexandria at our fingertips online. That made me realize how much knowledge is truly accessible today and inspired me to create a space for organizing and exploring it. That conversation sparked the idea for this project.
What is the Library of Alexandria?
The Library of Alexandria was an ancient library in Egypt, founded in the 3rd century BCE. It was one of the largest and most important repositories of knowledge in the ancient world, housing countless scrolls on science, philo sophy, history, and literature. Scholars from all over the world came to study and preserve the wisdom of their time.
About This Site
This site, the Library of Alexandria, is my personal knowledge hub, where the wisdom of ages resides. I created it to explore, collect, and share discoveries across history, maps, scripts, science, and moreβa space where curiosity can roam freely. As a curator, every idea, class, and lesson I encounter is carefully recorded into my collections (my notes), preserving knowledge much like an ancient library safeguarding the wisdom of the past. Here, the insights of today and yesterday live onβevery scroll tells a story, linking to great books and resources, and every manuscript preserves knowledge from ancient times. Each entry preserves a piece of wisdom for today and tomorrow, inspiring exploration, reflection, and the joy of learning in a way that is engaging, memorable, and timeless. Love knowledge, as it can spark curiosity, ignite new ideas, and guide you on a journey through the realms of understanding and imagination.
