- travle — this is my favorite game in the “daily challenge” genre. It has an endless mode so you can practice and get really good like me. There are certain chains of countries that come up a lot that really open up the game once you learn them.
- Vivid Gradient Generator — some colors, when mixed across a gradient in the conventional way, tend to go gray. This can make gradients that avoid that. I used this to make the accent color ramp for gomepage.
- Bumpy’s Arcade Fantasy — loved to play this at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. For the classic experience I had, hit F3 for VGA graphics, F7 for AdLib sound, and then fullscreen.
- Pokémon Fusion: mash up one pokémon’s body with another’s face and color. Always funny! Maybe I’ll make a collection of favorites sometime. Pictured: “Pikachop”
- mitxela.com projects — lots of really weird, cool ideas, many brought to life in the real world, in a well-presented format.
- Pet sprites from かわいいペットショップ物語2 (Kawaii Pet Shop Monogatari 2) — I think about this sprite sheet more often than you’d expect. A couple others too, maybe I’ll add a whole sprites collection eventually.
- Maggie Appleton’s Digital Gardening History might be inspirational if you want to build a site on the small web.
- monkeytype — good experience if you want to test your typing skills.
Ctrl-c neighbors
Some of these are pals of mine who I talk to on IRC, email, or iris. Others I just bookmarked because I like keeping track of which users actually have sites. I will come back later and add comments about who I know and other observations about their pages.
